Who are we?

Bansalan-American Inc. (BANAMI) is an international non-profit, non-partisan charitable organization based in the US and the Philippines. Founded in 2006 by a group of Overseas Filipino Workers taking extraordinary action, to give back, reach out and open opportunities and empower people in our native town, Bansalan, in the province of Davao del Sur to improve the lives of their families and to uplift prospects for their children’s future. (Where is Bansalan?)

Help Bansaleños in Bansalan and in the province of Davao del Sur, through various programs which include literacy thru scholarship grants, youth and sports enrichment, sustainable livelihoods, healthcare services, cultural programs, feeding and giving drives.

There is a marvelous story of a man who once stood before God, his heart
breaking from the pain and injustice in the world. "dear God. "look at all the
suffering , the anguish and distress in your world. Why don't you send help?"

God responded, I did send help. I sent you.

When we tell our children that story, we must tell them that each one of them was sent to help repair the broken world and that it is not the task of an instant or of a year; but a lifetime..
